Eye Recite is an Open Mic set that is hosted by the immensely talented Kai Love. What do we love about Kai Love’s set? It is filled with variety and there is always something new. There is no cookie cutter formula at work its genuine and warm. Kai’s set is just like her it’s filled with energy and love. She has a very welcoming spirit that let’s you know that she is glad that you are there. There are definitely no Big I’s and little You’s as everyone is made to feel at home whether the are reading or reciting from memory.  Last night’s show featured Nire Nah, Sharmon Jarmoni and Kymon Kyndred.  We were treated to the sound of beautiful harmony, guitar playing and drumming. There is something about strings being plucked and drumming that soothes your spirit. Of course we also treated to enjoying those who signed up for the open mic session.  Eye Recite is placed against the beautiful backdrop of Iona’s on the Blu located at 12454 South Western in Blue Island.  The food there is delicious at with great prices and the service is wonderful.
