Think back to the first time you saw the original version of a successful movie franchise or the first time you listened to the Freshman release of a hot recording artist. Everything is normally in top notch form from the imaging to the singing to the promotion. Now think of how disappointing it is when the second installation of the movie or the Sophomore follow up does not have the same quality.  This was NOT the case for the second installation of The Curvy Diva show. When Blue Lady productions had it’s first show I asked the question is this Mizz Wallace in full form and every person I asked said “no, you haven’t seen anything yet!” How true those words were, this was a top notch show. Everything was a step higher than it was in the first show. There was more glam, there was more energy, and there were more surprises.  I’m very detail oriented so I typically catch everything and that includes the things that people don’t want to be caught. I caught all good things in my net,the presentation of the food in the VIP package was the first thing that caught my eye as a walked into the auditorium. The table was decked out in shades of blue and the selection was more than your average chicken wings with mild sauce. The food was beautifully put together by a chef and the glass wear was specially touch by the Blue Lady herself.  Mizz Wallace had a bigger team in place this time around directing guests, taking care of the talent and making sure that things ran smoothly. Her floor team seemed to consists of younger people and you would have thought they did this sort of work all the time. Kudos to the Blue Lady for training the youth on how to run a production.  The atmosphere also was a step up, people looked GREAT!!!!! You couldn’t tell me that people were not sitting at fashion week on the front row. The show also brought out more local talent from  the Chicago scene the second time around. There was a buzz in the air, it was kind of electric. Like the first show it gave audience members an opportunity to join in. Guests were able to rock the runway and strut their stuff. I even got walk LOL!  People ate, danced drank, shopped and were merry. Once again Love Personified and Tiger Lee did a great job of hosting the show and keeping us entertained with their commentary and antics. Lady Lunchabell kept us laughing in the beginning paving the way for the Divas and even giving us a few of her best dance moves. The divas set the runway on fire and strutted with confidence ! They gave us sexy in a  scene that EVERYONE was talking about. It was just an awesomely entertaining experience. I can’t wait to see what’s next! I definitely will be there and you should too!
